Families and supporters in Naples gathered to celebrate the opening of a new playground at St. Matthew’s House Wolfe Apartments. The community provides up to two years of supportive housing for families experiencing homelessness, making the addition especially meaningful for children.

The playground was made possible through a $50,000 donation and coordinated efforts by GL Homes as part of its “Passion for Playgrounds” initiative.

The new space offers a safe, welcoming environment where children can play, connect, and simply enjoy being kids, bringing moments of joy and normalcy to families working toward a brighter future.

St. Matthew’s House’s mission is to ensure that no one experiencing hunger, homelessness, or addiction is alone or without a pathway from crisis to contributor.

Their approach is community-driven, addressing challenges in Southwest Florida for over 35 years. St. Matthew’s House focuses on meeting immediate needs while building toward sustainable transformations.
