Riverland Paseo Park in Riverland in Port St. Lucie is officially open! Riverland partnered with the City of Port St. Lucie to bring the first public park west of I-95 to Port St. Lucie. The City of Port St. Lucie, the Parks and Recreation Department members, the Humane Society of St. Lucie County and over one hundred residents joined the Riverland staff and GL Homes executives for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening. Riverland Paseo Park is officially the first city park coming to Riverland and features a Dog Park, divided into three parks for small, medium, and large breeds, softball field with concession stand plus restrooms and two soccer fields. Riverland residents can join in on the excitement as the Riverland Paseo Park connects directly to the Paseo Greenway, the 2-mile eco-friendly pathway, so residents now have easy access to Riverland’s newest amenity on their golf cart or bike. And there is always the option to get your steps in by conquering the walking pathway. This is unlike anything Port St. Lucie has seen before and residents can’t wait to start using this amazing new city park!
