GL Homes recently hosted a heartwarming dinner for the women of The Lord’s Place Burckle Place III in Lake Worth.
The evening featured special guest Florida Weekly Senior Editor Kelly Henry. With over two decades of experience in journalism and media, Kelly brought a unique blend of inspiration and authenticity to the event.
She shared her professional journey from her early days in reporting to her current role as the editorial voice of Florida Weekly, one of Florida’s most vibrant publications, offering insight into the world of newspaper publishing, where meeting tight deadlines and crafting compelling stories are both essential to producing a successful issue.
The dinner was designed as a thoughtful space for dialogue around how we consume news and media in our daily lives. Clients at Burckle Place III engaged in meaningful conversations, sharing that they rely on local newspapers, digital newsletters, and social media platforms to stay informed. The discussion also explored the types of writing they regularly engage in, such as journaling and poetry.
