College student Kelvin Rolle didn’t miss a beat. The Florida A&M University (FAMU) rising junior finished his final exams, and days later started his summer internship at GL Homes with the engineering and land development team in Boynton Beach. This is Kelvin’s second summer internship with the Florida homebuilder.

The 20-year-old engineering major has known from a young age that he wanted to be an engineer.
When Kelvin was a Benjamin High School senior, he and his mother, LaTishia, toured a GL Homes construction site, which sparked his interest in a summer college internship.
