The Humane Society of St. Lucie County’s 2025 Blue Jean Ball, themed safari adventure, raised $175,000 to support lifesaving animal programs. This premier fundraising event brought together animal lovers from across the community for an unforgettable evening of philanthropy and fun.

Guests enjoyed auctions, entertainment, and inspiring rescue stories. Thanks to generous sponsors like GL Homes, HSSLC can continue providing critical care and shelter to homeless animals in need.

“This year’s Blue Jean Ball was truly an expedition of generosity,” said HSSLC Executive Director Nukhet Hendricks. “Our community came together in a big way to make a lasting impact on the lives of animals, and we couldn’t be more grateful. With their generosity, we can continue providing top-notch care and second chances to the animals who need us most.”

The Humane Society of St. Lucie County is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and safe shelter for homeless animals and education to the community on responsible pet ownership. The HSSLC is proud to be an official no-kill shelter with the goal of finding good, safe, and loving homes for all the animals in their care.
